The Mazovia Institute of Culture is an organizational unit of the Mazovia Province Local Government.
We strive to make MIK a modern center of cultural education and research, integrating animation activities in the field of culture and art, promoting outstanding artistic wonders and performing the tasks of an artistic institution.
Our activities are one-off, multi-day, multi-month, annual and long-term undertakings: research in the field of culture and research reports, conferences, releases and publications, festivals, performances, concert cycles and interdisciplinary projects, permanent work of art galleries, courses and education.
We operate in almost all fields of art, we reach recipients all over Mazovia - including small towns in the region and in Warsaw. We are also constantly looking for new recipients and creators, new culture-creating environments and places where cultural events are particularly awaited.
Within our structures operate also: The Mazovian Theater, Mazovia and Warsaw Film Fund and Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission, Foksal Gallery, Test Gallery, XX1 Gallery, Elektor Gallery, Mazowiecka Gallery.
